SouthTech Academy Hosts Open House on Nov. 1
SouthTech Academy, a tuition-free conversion charter school serving students in grades 9-12, will host an information session on Tuesday, Nov. 1, beginning at 6:30 p.m., at 1300 SW 30th Ave., Boynton Beach.
“SouthTech Academy offers small class sizes for individualized learning, preparing students to pursue higher education or get a head start on their career,” said James “Jim” Kidd, president and CEO. “We provide supportive teachers who offer personalized, hands-on assistance in a comfortable learning environment, and focus on their students’ unique needs, progress and successes.”
SouthTech
Academy offers 13 career academies and a variety of industry certifications.
They also provide students with honors classes, an expanded AP program and dual
enrollment. Students graduate with a college-ready high school diploma,
prepared to navigate their future, as they enter the workforce, pursue a
college degree and beyond. The career academies include medical sciences,
veterinary assisting, business management, digital film and broadcast, music
and sound production, information technology, commercial arts, auto body
repair, automotive technology, motorcycle technology, marine technology,
cosmetology and culinary arts. SouthTech Academy boasts a 96.3% graduation rate,
one of the top graduation rates in Palm Beach County.
Open House attendees will learn more about the programs SouthTech Academy
offers potential students. School staff will be on hand to provide information
on academic and student support services, clubs and organizations. Admissions
assistance will also be available to attendees.
