Big Rock Partners Launches Preleasing for Atria at Villages of Windsor
Upscale Senior Living Rental Community Reflects Consumers’ Rising Expectations

LAKE WORTH, Fla. -As Big Rock Partners launches preleasing for Atria at Villages of Windsor , early response to the $105 million luxury senior living rental community shows strong, pent-up demand for a new generation of senior housing.

Owner/developer Big Rock Partners kicked off preleasing this week with the opening of the Welcome Center at Atria at Villages of Windsor in Palm Beach County, Fla. Interest in the forthcoming senior living community has been immediately strong, with deposits already in hand for nearly two dozen future residents.

Visitors to the new center can view a three dimensional scale model of the completed project, browse floor plans for the spacious apartments on an interactive display table, and learn more about the upscale lifestyle that includes luxury apartments, a full-time concierge, fine dining, a hotel/resort-style pool, premier fitness and yoga facilities, a Hollywood-style screening room, cutting-edge technology, chauffeured car service and a pet friendly environment.

Big Rock Partners, a national real estate development and management firm, chose industry leader Atria Senior Living to market and operate its new community at the intersection of Hypoluxo and Lyons roads. Now under construction, the community’s 186 independent living residences and resort-style amenities are slated to open as early as summer 2017. The additional 80 assisted living apartment residences and a separate memory care building with 54 one-and two-bedroom residences and its own gardens will be completed during fall 2017.

“Today’s seniors have already moved far beyond yesterday’s ideas about senior living,” said Richard Ackerman, senior managing principal of Big Rock Partners.  “They’re savvy, sophisticated consumers who look to live each day to the fullest in surroundings where they feel like valued guests at a five-star resort. We’re pioneering that new type of Class A senior living rental community as a flexible alternative to the traditional continuing care retirement community,” he added.
Located between Delray Beach and Wellington, Atria at Villages of Windsor is now leasing its independent living, assisted and memory care residences. “We don’t require buy-in fees or long-term leases, which means we are committed to earning the business of our residents and families, month after month, by providing top service in a modern senior living environment unlike anything else in this area,” said Michael Brown, executive director of Atria at Villages of Windsor.

Designed in Spanish Mission architectural style, Atria at Villages of Windsor will create the feel of a grand resort, from the tree-lined grand entry and high-volume lobby to the wide, light-filled central corridors overlooking a lushly landscaped central courtyard.  Luxury apartment finishes including stainless steel appliances, stone counter tops and beautiful wood grain cabinets, along with multiple dining choices, an auditorium with adjacent screening-room theater, fitness center, pool, salon, game rooms, and a multi-purpose computer and library space make Atria at the Villages of Windsor the region’s only senior living rental residence of its kind.
